I received my MSc (1992) in Structural Geology from Kharazmi University, Tehran and my PhD (2000) in structural Geology/Geodynamics from Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran, Iran. Currently, I am Associate Professor of Structural Geology and Exploration Geophysics in the Graduate University of Advanced Technology, Kerman, Iran (since 2009). Previously, I was a researcher at the International Institute of Earthquake Engineering and Seismology (IIEES), Tehran and lecturer at Golestan University, Gorgan, Iran. I had contribution in several industrial joint-research projects in structural controling of ore deposits and geological modeling with the Mine & Energy Industries. My research interests are in the area of structural controlling of ore deposits, structural evolution of metamorphic terrains, and analogue/numerical modeling. I received a post-doctoral awarded by the Swedish Institute for pursuing my interest in analogue modeling at the Hans Ramberg Lab., Uppsala University, Sweden in 2008-9.
